Staying active and connected is essential for maintaining a healthy lifestyle, especially as we grow older. That’s why we’re excited to introduce our Fit For Life Seniors, a series of classes designed specifically for older adults. This program focuses on building strength, balance, flexibility, and cardiovascular health while fostering a sense of community.

A Program Designed Just for You

Our Fit For Life Seniors program features classes that rotate every four weeks, ensuring variety and consistency to keep participants engaged. Each theme targets a different aspect of fitness and wellbeing:

  • Balance and Stability: Improve coordination and reduce the risk of falls with exercises to enhance balance and control.

  • Strength: Build and maintain muscle strength and endurance with total body training.

  • Flexibility (Yoga/Stretch): Boost mobility and relaxation with yoga-inspired movements and stretches.

  • Cardio/Fitness: Enjoy low-impact activities to improve heart health and endurance.

How It Works

Each theme runs for four weeks, allowing participants to fully immerse themselves in the focus area before transitioning to the next. This rotation ensures that all aspects of exercise are addressed throughout the year, offering a holistic approach to health and wellbeing.

Where and When

Fit For Life Seniors classes will take place every Thursday at 10:30 am at the Mernda Uniting Church Hall, 97 Schotters Rd, Mernda VIC 3754 providing a welcoming and convenient environment for all participants. Our classes are included in your TRAC or Mill Park Leisure membership that includes group exercise. If you're not a member, you can also purchase a 10 visit pass or pay casually for individual sessions.

Non Member Pricing:

  • Casual Adult: $16.85
  • Casual Concession: $13.55

10 Visit Pass Pricing:

  • Group Exercise 10 visit pass adult: $151.55
  • Group Exercise 10 visit pass concession: $121.85
